Konavle, the most southern Croatian region is another perfect spot to enjoy mixture of different landscapes, nature, history and local food. Known of it's unique, steep Konavle cliffs, above the Adriatic sea, it's field in the middle of the region used to be called Dubrovnik's granary and unique river Ljuta, Konavle is just a great place to escape from the crowds !!!
Beautiful, panoramic views from the upper Konavle hills are breath taking, very well preserved water mills dating from the 15th century and restaurants along the Ljuta river are great for nice refreshment, while the small fishing villages on the sea side and the most southern Croatian town of Cavtat known of it's historical value and local bars and restaurants on the sea side are just irresistible !!!
Itinerary : Pick up at any preferred location in Dubrovnik.
Drive towards top of the hill Srđ for the best panoramic view of Dubrovnik.
From there drive goes on more south, through the Župa bay towards the upper Konavle
villages. Several panoramic stops above Konavle field.
Stop on Ljuta river for the presentation of the old water mills work and
traditional way of life.
Optional stop in one of the restaurants in shade along the river ( meal,
drink).
Driving through the beautiful, southern Konavle villages towards the historical,
magical town of Cavtat.
Walking tour around, optional drink or meal break on the sea side.
Meeting location: Any preferred location in Dubrovnik.
End location: Any preferred location in Dubrovnik.
Duration: 6 / 7 hours.
